A Non-Christian Gang

We met Taw (14) at our regular visits to the Youth Correction Center. When he ran away we tried to help him. His mother had left some years ago and his father had died. So, his only family was his Aunty Mon, Grandma and half-brother Toon(20). Toon got him invloved in a gang. They started to steal things from the house to sell to buy drugs. Aunty Mon came to us for help. "Grandma is coming to live with me. She's afraid of her own grandsons! Will you store what's left of her furniture?" We did and we began to pray. Mon started to come to church on Sundays.
After several weeks we saw God move. Taw was beaten up and we visited him in hospital. He was ready for us to help him now! We took him to a Christian Home where he would be cared for by a loving family and be away from Toon. That same week Toon was caught by the police and went to jail for a minor drug offense.
While he was in jail Mon prayed to receive Jesus as her Lord and Saviour. Grandma heard the gospel. After Toon's 50 days in jail, he was willing for us to take him to a Christian Rehab Home in another province. Praise the Lord who finds a way where there seems to be no way! Please pray for:

  • This family: that all of them would know the Lord and
  • That God would continue to work to save them from the consequences of their sins and the sins of their fathers before them.
