Eid is the househelper at one of the Chiangmai dorms for missionary children and has been studying the Bible with me (dorm mother) for 1 1/2 years. I asked my Christian cook, Tui, what she thought I should get Eid for her birthday in January. Tui suggested I get her some Christian books, so one of the books I gave her was I Dared to Call Him Father (in Thai), a fascinating book written by a Muslim woman in Pakistan who became a Christian. Part of her journey to Christ involved some amazing dreams. Shortly after reading the books, Eid had 3 significant dreams herself over 3 nights: -

A few weeks previously, I was asked if I would consider going to the Lampang Cancer Center, located just outside town, to teach English. I explained to the Administrator that whilst I taught English, my purpose was also to expose Thai people to my Christian worldview and that I would be using Bible passages as my English teaching texts. -
INTERactive – a Student Club

At the Nakhon Sawan Rajaphat University, there are approximately 8,000 students and only 5 Christians known to us, from 5 different churches. Each week Youth House staff go onto campus to eat and chat in the canteen and help with INTERactive – a student club. -

The main event took place on December 19, 2009. On this day about 50% of Thai churches participated and more than 41,000 of their members were involved in reaching out to over 200,000 of their friends and neighbors to tell them about Jesus. -
Christmas Outreaches

Three homes will be opened for “Matthew & Friends” per the Billy Graham project “My Hope Thailand”. These will be conducted on 18th December at The Songs’ residence, 19th December at Christine Kwok’s residence and 20th December at the Ministry Center in Kheha Ramkhamhaeng. Guests will watch an evangelistic program together, with discussion afterwards. -

Ning, a lady who runs an evening restaurant next door to us, has just bought a solid jade bangle worth a lot of money. I was a bit confused that they would spend so much on jewellery when they are struggling to make ends meet.
