Other Background Information
We aim to place Christians in Thai colleges, technical schools, and universities to teach English. They would teach at the school for at least two years, working in cooperation with the church planters and local Christians to develop relationships with teachers and students, and share the gospel with them. Primary responsibility for discipleship would fall to the church planters, although the teachers would be encouraged to help as time allows. In addition to teaching responsibilities, the teachers should participate in weekly team meetings, endeavour to integrate with the academic community and become identified with the church planters (through lunch together on campus, involvement with the campus fellowship once it starts etc). They should also be involved in the local REEP (Regional English Evangelism Program) at the church if one exists, and English camps on occasion. It should be noted that the teachers would not be responsible for contacting schools and procuring employment; the program coordinator will be responsible for this.

Path of Service:
After 6 months of TEFL and Thai language training in Lopburi, teams of at least two will be placed in an educational institution in a city where OMF church planters are working.

Life Style:
A fairly simple lifestyle, eating Thai food and living in an apartment on the campus of the host college or university. It will be important to integrate into the academic community as closely as possible.
