Friendship evangelism and discipleship training among students.

Possible Tasks
Work in connection with an ACT church in an urban setting, doing friendship evangelism and discipleship. The student worker may be working with students in a University, teachers College, Vocational College, or High Schools. It is important to integrate converts into the local ACT Church.

What's required?
At least 1 year of Bible College study, or the equivalent.
A degree or diploma in another field of study is an asset.
One to two years in church work would be desirable.

Language?

Type of person
People with personal evangelism and cell group skills. Younger age preferable. Friendliness and initiative are important qualities.

Other Background Information
Student workers are required to reach the hundreds of thousands of students studying in Thai universities and colleges.

Path of Service:
About six months Thai language study based in Lopburi, then moving to another place of ministry in Thailand to focus more on student ministry, while continuing to develop language skills.

Life Style:
A fairly simple life style, eating Thai food and living at a Thai school teacher level. It is important to take a look at the people around you and try and fit into their standard of living.
