Sattha International

Sattha International is a travelling football (soccer) team. If you would like to know how football can impact Thailand for Jesus, take a look at James' story below.

When James heard that the local church was putting a team together to face the Sattha International squad he and his friends were eager to face off with this “foreign” team. Once on the pitch he found that not only was the team there to play, but that they also showed an unusual kindness that he appreciated. Shortly afterwards when he encountered a troubled patch in his life he knew this same kindness was available at the local church where Pastor Jarern had hosted the International team. This connection led him to hear more and give his life to the Lord Jesus. He is now very happy as Pastor Jarern prepares him to lead a sports ministry out of the local church reaching out to James’ neighborhood.

Sattha International goes throughout Central Thailand building bridges for the Gospel through football (soccer), so that people like James can know God. Visiting schools, communities and youth detention centers you will teach some English, play a lot of football, share your testimony, and pass out literature as we encourage Thai believers and share the gospel in their communities.
