Prayer Point

Many young Christians face family pressure to participate in ancestor worship. Pray they will stand firm.

Hell money

20/07/2010 12:00 am  <>

Twice a month, working class Taiwanese make food offerings and burn "hell money" in front of their businesses and homes to appease the gods, spirits and ghosts of Taiwan. It is estimated that over 100,000 tons of this paper is burnt annually.

Lord we know that Taiwanese working class will not find true peace in the way of life they inherited from their forefathers, but we pray that they could find redemption in the precious blood of Christ. (1 Pe 1:18-19)
