Leadership Development
OMF's ultimate goal is to build the Taiwanese church, not to establish OMF churches. Therefore an essential part of our ministry is the development of mature, well equipped Taiwanese leaders. This is an important aspect of all our ministries. However, we also have a number of people who specialize in the area of teaching and training leaders.
There is a shortage of both full-time pastors and capable lay leadership in Taiwan. OMFers are involved in training leaders in churches, seminaries and Bible colleges. We seek to equip people to lead churches, to reach out to the unreached working class and to become involved in mission beyond Taiwan.
