Saitama International Church
OMF International began church planting in Urawa in 1990 with the establishment of Musashi Urawa Christian Church. In 1996, Saitama Cell Ministries was formed with the vision to develop a congregation of cell groups (Christian small groups) in the Urawa-Omiya-Kawaguchi area of central Saitama Prefecture. In 1998 Musashi Urawa Christian Church and Saitama Cell Ministries united to become Saitama International Church, with the purpose of being a cell church for all of Saitama Prefecture. It is our vision to be a church in which every believer...
1) ... is mature in Christ, equipped and rooted in the Word, and mobilized for ministry according to their gifts, active in cell groups which will grow and multiply throughout Saitama.
2) ...is living a holy and victorious life pleasing to God, submitting to the Lordship of Christ, actively witnessing under the power of the Holy Spirit, faithful and committed, bearing fruit and demonstrating the love God to all people.
3) ...together with other members of the Body of Christ experiences inspiring worship, passionate spirituality, warm fellowship, mutual encouragement, joy and love.
...by the grace of God!The OMF missionary team presently serving at SIC are: Patrick and Faith Hansen, Steve and Kathi Weemes, and Benoit and Andrea Cibangu.
