OMF-Japan welcomes short-term teams for 4-8 weeks at various times of the year. The most common time is June-August, corresponding to summer in the US, Canada and UK.

We welcome teams from colleges and universities, local churches, or teams of individuals put together by OMF. Each team has a member recognized as the team leader.

Teams may serve at OMF church planting centers, or be based in a local Japanese church. Depending on the location, teams may be involved in university student outreach, kids outreach, music ministry, or a variety of church-based activities.

In addition, the team may have the chance to support and encourage the full-time OMF missionary and their family, as well as encouraging the local Japanese believers.
