Possible tasks in this role will involve promotion and recruitment for short-term missions, processing and finding placements for applicants, orientating and debriefing short-term workers, and keeping the field up to date on the availability and ideal utilization of short-term workers.

A young person (20-30 years old) with a desire to get involved in mission and an interest in exploring future ministry options.
As well as having good administrative skills, the Serve Asia assistant must also be good with people as they will be directly involved in greeting new arrivals and helping them to settle.
The Serve Asia assistant must be teachable, very ‘flexible’ in all aspects of the role, and able to accept changes easily.
Each year OMF centers welcome a number of short-term ministry teams. This involves a lot of logistics and planning. The Serve Asia Coordinator is looking for someone who can help with this as well as help rewrite resources such as the Serve Asia handbook.
