“The Hidden Treasure” is based on Matthew 13:44.

• Answers the question - “Why do riches, reputation and position not satisfy?”
• Expounds the Good News of the Christian faith under five headings:
  
  • “The SOURCE of the gospel” (the living and loving God, not human thinking)
  • “The VALUE of the gospel (like treasure)
  • “The NATURE of the gospel” (“hidden” from the unaided human mind, needing God to reveal His treasure of salvation and forgiveness to the humble, and including a scholar’s testimony of coming to know repentance and faith after not “seeing” it during five years’ exposure to the gospel
  • “The BLESSINGS of the gospel” (including the new relationship of coming to know God as Father, Christ as Saviour and the world’s Christians as brothers and sisters)
  • “The CHALLENGE of the gospel” (the man couldn’t get the field free, the price to be paid is the surrender of every other possible area of trust in order to receive and follow Jesus as Saviour and Lord).
• Ends with a prayer of acceptance of Christ and the invitation to write to Keith if the hearer feels this could help.
