How can I mobilize others?
How can I mobilize and challenge others?
- Volunteer to represent OMF or your other favorite Mission organizations at your church, at other churches or at MissionFest conference
- Volunteer to help in the OMF office or on OMF regional ministry teams (or other Mission organizations)
- Be a Champion for Global Missions in your local church by joining or starting a mission committee at your church
- Start or join a prayer group at your church that focuses on unreached peoples.
- Seek those you can mentor and invest in, to help them find God’s plan for their life.
- Sign your church up for a subscription to Mission Frontiers, Global Prayer Digest, PrayMagazine or some other mission-minded publication.
- Lead a Bible study, Sunday school class, small global impact group. Consider leading a group through the Experiencing God Study Guide.
- Become a resource person, and share what you know with key people. Read, network, share and partner with mission agencies, churches and denominations. Do this by starting a church book table or library.
- If you have not taken “The Perspectives Course”, you must. There is no better way to learn how to become a World Christian, a Mobilizer.
- If you have taken Perspectives, join a Perspectives Task Force in your community or take the training to coordinate Perspectives at your home church. Perspectives is one of the best ways to begin to mobilize your church.
- Help your church adopt an unreached people group. Adopt-A-People Clearinghouse assists in recording, maintaining and disseminating unreached people group profiles.
