Training
Before you go:
As a Serve Asia participant, you will receive materials about your specific country of service, counselling through the preparation process by our staff, orientation on the homeside before departure, and ministry-specific training upon your arrival in Asia by OMF long-term workers.
Returning home:
You will have the opportunity to process and evaluate your Serve Asia experience when you receive debriefing both on the field and when you return to your home country. You will also receive materials to help you integrate your experience into your life at home. Our goal is not just simply to train you for your time overseas. Ultimately, our desire is that your entire short-term experience will prepare you to live out the unique role God has for you in the Great Commission.
