IPS Project Summary:

The international personnel system (IPS) – 'Connecting People' project is a new initiative to ensure that OMF is able to best manage its most important resource to serve God in the most effective manner. Unlike a traditional personnel system, the focus is more on relationships with people in and outside the organisation. It includes:

  • Personnel Administration and Organisation Management – Supports the key information needs and people processes of the organisation.
  • Candidate selection – Facilitating a global selection process in an efficient and effective manner.
Developing the members – Qualification catalogues and eLearning portal and tools for developing the membership. Review processes for assessing time on the field.
  • Caring for the members – Schools database and review processes for children.
  • Communications, reporting and security – These underpin the above areas.

This project will deliver a single solution to 26 countries and about 2500 users. Delivery will take place in Singapore and Cambodia.

The vacancies are medium term associate positions available for 1-3 years located in Singapore and / or Cambodia starting Jan 2008. (Some of the roles will be located in Singapore with travel to Cambodia. Other roles will start in Singapore for 6 months and then transfer to Cambodia (Phnom Penh) after an initial 6 months. There is some flexibility here.)
