Sports Outreach Worker , PHILIPPINES, THAILAND

Be part of a team ministering holistically to the urban poor of several ethnicities, trying to spark a church multiplication movement among them. Provide opportunities for those in urban poor communities to participate in sports activities such as basketball, volleyball, and soccer. He/she should be able to build relationships that lead to new believers and a church multiplication movement. He/she should have background and experience in sports development / participation (physical education or sports instructor, sports coordinator, sports team coach or manager).

Urban & Rural Church Planters , CAMBODIA

In the selected outreach area, the worker would seek, through friendship ministries and direct evangelism, to bring people to saving faith in Christ. The believers would be nurtured and taught in small fellowship groups, with a view to forming one or more larger congregations. These churches would be part of the FCC (Fellowship Churches of Cambodia). A minimum of 2 to 3 years Bible school, church ministry experience, evangelistic outreach, and Bible teaching are needed. Also valuable also would be giftedness in friendship making, and personal evangelism.

Leadership Trainers , EAST ASIA

Provide formal, systematic, Biblical and theological training for both grassroot level and existing leadership of the emerging church in East Asia. Many of these churches are facing opposition from outside in terms of oppression, persecution as well as materialism and consumerism. There is also the rapidly growing influence of cults and heresies due to lack of teaching of God’s Word and proper training of Christian workers. Qualified trainers with pastoral experience will be essential.

Theological Lecturers , SOUTH EAST ASIA, MALAYSIA, PHILIPPINES, MONGOLIA, THAILAND, CAMBODIA

Prepare the future leadership of the church and stand for Biblical truth against pluralistic influences. Lecture at a seminary, advise and counsel theological students. Take opportunities to preach, lead Bible studies or missions prayer groups, give training workshops, or assist local believers reaching out to marginalized or unreached people groups. People with a heart for Biblical truth, a big vision for the church, and stickability are needed to have an impact. A background with teaching experience and church work are a great asset.

Church Planters , JAPAN, THAILAND, CAMBODIA, PHILIPPINES, MEKONG

Church planting among unreached and lesser-reached people groups, working through friendship ministries, community development and direct evangelism, depending on context. Goal is to establish Indigenous Biblical Church Movements in East Asia. Part of a multi-national team alongside national believers.

Working Class Evangelist , TAIWAN

Work as a team, cooperating with national churches, to reach working class Taiwanese people from traditional animistic backgrounds. Evangelism using communication methods appropriate for semi-literate and/or functionally illiterate people is an essential part of the vision, such as Bible story telling. A passion to reach the lost, proven skills in evangelism, some formal Bible training, 1-2 years full time Christian ministry experience are necessary.

Student Work among Urban/Rural Thai , THAILAND

Work in connection with an ACT church in an urban/rural setting, doing friendship evangelism and discipleship. May be working with students in a University, teachers College, Vocational College, or High Schools. It is important to integrate converts into the local ACT Church. At least 1 year of Bible College study, or equivalent is required. 1-2 years in church work would be desirable. People with personal evangelism and cell group skills an asset.

Church Planter/Evangelist , JAPAN

Evangelism, discipling, preaching and forming a group of new believers into an emerging church, eventually to hand over to Japanese pastoral leadership. Biblical gifts of an evangelist, preacher, pastor and teacher are all needed to some degree. A willingness to work hard in visitation, an openness to befriend people, perseverance to keep going in the face of repeated disappointments and a continuing flexibility to adjust to new people and situations.

Internship Program (1 - 2 years) , TAIWAN, THAILAND, MEKONG, SOUTH EAST ASIA, JAPAN

Interns will gain experience in ministry on the field and also receive training from experienced missionaries. Ministries could include church planting, student work and children’s ministries. There is an initial period of up to six months of language study .The program is for people who think that God may be leading them into cross-cultural ministry but are not clear on their future direction, or are not yet able to commit to a longer term involvement.
