Ordinary women
One evening I dragged myself to catch the train in Tokyo to go on a rare girls’ night out. My feet dragged, not because of reluctance, but exhaustion. Our youngest son had been sick during the night and the day that followed was busy. But I didn’t want to miss this precious opportunity to spend time with good friends.

What took you so long?
A prayer team was taken into an area of the Mekong region, where the majority of the people are Hmong. The terrain is very rough there, and it is very difficult to grow food. Often times the ground is more rock than dirt. The prayer team walked through a Hmong village and found a group of people sitting around talking. They went up and had a little chat with them.

- NSW - Cambodia Prayer Group, special guest Sokreaksa Himm - He survived Cambodia’s killing fields. He saw his family hacked to death. Could he forgive? Hear Sokreaksa Himm on his only Saturday night in Sydney at the Cambodia Prayer Group Meeting.
- SA - Exploring Missions SEP 16 - Special guest, Sokreaksa Himm, survivor of the Pol Pot regime in Cambodia and author of “The Tears of my Soul” and “After the Heavy Rain”, will be speaking at our next Exploring Missions gathering. Come along and hear stories of how God is at work in Cambodia.
- VIC - New Directions! Farewell and thanksgiving OCT 31 - An afternoon tea to thank God for, the Webbs who have now retired from OMF, and our former National Director as he moves into a field leadership position. Join us to greet them while they are in Melbourne and to hear their stories.
- QLD - Second Wind Network Seminar OCT 16 - Join us as OMF participates in the Second Wind Network Seminar. The theme for the seminar is Dare to Dive In, finding your fit in God’s global plan in your 2nd half.
